Sandra Bullock Oscars 2011

Sandra Bullock looks stunning in a red Vera Wang dress for the 2011 Oscars

Sandra Bullock attended the 83rd Annual Academy Awards on February 27, 2011 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

Sandra looked stunning on the red carpet in a scarlet strapless gown with a large bow at back by American designer Vera Wang. However, the new mother was missing something like a necklace.

The 46-year-old actress Oscar dress was voted number 2 on the Best Dressed List for Style Bistro’s reader survey. She paired her strapless gown with Jimmy Choo’s “Vita” platform sandals.

Sandra Bullock won the 2010 Oscar for best actress in “The Blind Side”. This year she returned to the stage to present the award for Best Actor to Colin Firth for his role in “The King’s Speech”.

She told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet that her secret to her stunning looks was being more relaxed than she was last year. “At least I’ve had a full night’s sleep,” she said. “When I was presenting last time I’d only had like two hours. I don’t remember anything. I remember none of it. I had a little man that no one knew about. I was taking care of that kid!” She had adopted a baby boy, Louis Bardo, from New Orleans earlier that year in January.

Within a few days of the 2010 Oscars, Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee announced her affair with Sandra’s then husband, Jesse James. Last month Jesse announced his engagement to tattoo artist Kat Von D.

Anyway she’s finished with him, and still looks like a movie star. I vote her fantastic Oscar’s gown 5 stars. Do you agree?
